Are you familiar with Delacroix's Liberty Leading the People? Did you know what kind of untold stories are hidden behind this Romantic master? This course will take you into a different world of Delacroix, starting from his life's secrets and anecdotes, deeply analyzing the formation of his artistic style, and his profound impact on the development of art in later generations. We will break away from the framework of traditional art history and explore Delacroix's inner world from a more vivid and human perspective. By interpreting his diaries, letters, and accounts of contemporary figures, we will restore a more authentic and three-dimensional Delacroix. Course Content: Delacroix's Life Secrets: We will uncover Delacroix's unknown background, emotional experiences, and the grudges and affections with contemporary artists.
